    Celebrating Obijackson’s Legacy: Akpoazaa Foundation awards scholarships to 16 students

    AWKA, Anambra – Akpoazaa Foundation Awards Scholarships Worth N1 Million to 16 Okija Students in Honour of Obijackson at 65

    The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Akpoazaa Foundation, Dr. Frank Odinaka Igbojindu, has awarded scholarships worth one million Naira to 16 indigent students who are indigenes of Okija in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

    The scholarship ceremony, held on Friday, April 18, was organized in honour of the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Obijackson Group, Dr. Sir Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

    According to Dr. Igbojindu, the gesture was made in appreciation of Dr. Obiejesi’s immense contributions to education and the development of Okija.

    “This man has transformed the face of our town through his dedication and vision,” he said.

    Dr. Igbojindu noted that this year marked the second edition of the One Million Naira Scholarship Initiative, established in honour of Dr. Obiejesi. The first edition was held in April 2023, during which ten students from Okija benefited.

    This year, sixteen deserving students were awarded scholarships across various educational levels: two tertiary students, four secondary school students, and ten primary school pupils.

    Edmund Esther Chiamaka – Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka
    B. Secondary Category

    Madueke Mmesoma – Bethel Standard Secondary School, Okija
    Mbanugo Ogechukwu Augusta – Union Secondary School, Okija
    Ubah Thankgod – Bethel Standard Secondary School, Okija
    Ihediuche Kosisochukwu – Bethel Standard Secondary School, Okija
    C. Primary Category

    Uzochukwu Vivian Yadirichukwu – Umuohi Community Primary School
    Chibueze Nwenyi – Divine Model School, Okija
    Chimamanda Azubuike – Divine Model School, Okija
    Chidinma Great – Successful Learning School, Okija
    Udemadu Miracle – Mother of God School, Okija
    Chukwudi Okafor – Mother of God School, Okija
    Olisabueze Chimezie Prosper – Great Star Academy, Oba
    Gideon Ohanehi – Ihite Central School, Okija
    Chukwudum Oluoma Precious – St. Mark Anglican Primary School, Ihite
    Chukwubuikem Wisdom Great – Successful Learners School, Okija
    Dr. Igbojindu expressed the foundation’s commitment to sustaining this initiative, promising that it would continue annually, by God’s grace.

    The Akpoazaa Foundation remains dedicated to empowering the youth of Okija through education, ensuring that the legacy of Dr. Obijackson continues to inspire future generations.
