LAGOS, Nigeria – Nollywood actress Caroline Hutchins Danjuma believes that her marriage crashed because of Linda Ikeja, publisher Linda Ikejiblog.
Born as Caroline Uduak Abasi Ekanem, the Nollywood star got married to Musa Danjuma, the younger brother of former Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant Gen. Theophilus Danjuma but the marriage crashed in 2016. She and her husband now live separate lives.
Her current outburst occurred during a confrontation with Laura Ikeji, the younger sister of the celebrity blogger at a gathering with few of her friends.
Caroline was infuriated when Laura Ikeji said she will slap her for insulting her sister. But she told Laura that she is ready to kill for her daughter. According to her, Linda Ikeji had been at her butt since she got married to Musa Danjuma to such an extent that she allegedly wrote that her daughter was for another man.
Caroline said she reached out to her but she refused to bulge. Besides, she alleged that Linda Ikeji lied about her age and that when she reached out to her she refused her overtures.
“I love your sister so much, I respect her so much but I don’t know why she hates me so much. I got married to my husband for love not for money. I love my husband up till today”, he said, regretting the decision to separate from her husband adding that she has to give in so as to have peace of mind.
According to her, why it is not bad to have a blog, it is on the other hand not good to hurt people. She said all those incidents took place despite the fact that her daughter not only had a hole in the heart but that she almost died at point of giving birth.
“ But you know what I need my peace of mind, if I want to insult you sister I will do it, and I don’t care. I am such a perfectionist, I wanted a home, I love my daughter so much, but I will kill for my daughter”, she warned.
