AWKA, Anambra – The 774 local government areas in Nigeria, are set to benefit from a one-million-jobs initiative being launched by Nigerians based in Canada.

In addition, selected participants in the states will receive one million naira per month by leveraging their intellectual property rights.
The founder of the project, Ben Oguntala, said the initiative has been christened the “One Million Challenge.”

It is being implemented in partnership with Developing Africa Group (DAG).

According to Oguntala, “Its aim is to create one million jobs across all 774 local government areas in Nigeria using participants’ intellectual property rights and paying one million naira per month.

“The types of jobs we are looking at include raw materials, sports, education, data entry, tourism, music, culture, food, and other areas, provided individuals have access to a mobile phone and the internet.

“What we did this time was to engage Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, as they support small and medium-sized businesses in Nigeria. The government in Canada has agreed to work with them.

“They will be invited to come to Canada in May 2026. If you are an Olympic athlete, DAG can help you convert your talent into an international contract that may also include a citizenship offer. If you can list at least five raw materials in your local community, describe them in detail, and state their prices, DAG can help you earn one million naira per month by selling them.

“If you are based in any of the 774 local government areas in Nigeria and have access to a computer, DAG can help you earn one million naira per month through data entry tasks.

“If you studied a specialist subject in school, DAG can help you create a service that can earn you one million naira per month with the support of relevant technology.

“If you studied a healthcare-related subject, DAG can help you earn one million naira per month by connecting you to the appropriate medical technology needed in your local area,” Oguntala stated.

However, to qualify or register, candidates must take an eligibility test costing $20 through the website www.japa.developing.africa. Further inquiries can be sent to [email protected].

The call to action urges interested individuals to take the $20 eligibility test via the following link: https://japa.developing.africa/auth/register.
