MOSCOW – A SHAMELESS creep who claimed he was in a “good mood” when he targeted a schoolgirl has been jailed for eight years.
The 35-year-old predator sparked outrage after he was caught manhandling a 15-year-old girl in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia.
The pervert tried to shrug off the sickening assault as a “pat on the back,” but a judge saw right through his twisted excuses.
The victim told a court how the man’s behavior was anything but “friendly.”
She alleged the brute aggressively groped her and used his strength to hold her down during the terrifying ordeal.
Cops swooped on the unnamed attacker after the girl’s family raised the alarm. Despite the overwhelming evidence, the deluded suspect insisted he didn’t know the youngster’s age and claimed he was just “celebrating” his high spirits.
The court heard how the man’s “good mood” quickly turned sour when he realized he was facing a decade behind bars.
He was slapped with an eight-year sentence this week, as the judge moved to protect the public from the wandering-handed menace.
Legal experts say the stiff sentence sends a “clear message” to predators that “ignorance is no excuse” when it comes to the age of their victims.
