ABUJA, Nigeria – President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow Sunday jet out to Seoul, South Korea for a summit even as Nigerians continue to suffer in flooded communities.

Over 600 lives have been lost in this unprecedented flood that hit communities in Nigeria, over 2 million people have been displaced, with farmlands and livestock destroyed.

The two day summit holding from October 25 to 26 has the theme, “The future of vaccine and bio-health.

In a statement, Special Assistant to the President on the Social Media, Bashir Ahmad said  the President will also seek more effective partnerships that impact positively on the lives and safety of Nigerians.

President @MBuhari will tomorrow, depart Abuja for Seoul, South Korea to participate in the 1st World Bio Summit, jointly organized by the Government of the Republic of Korea and WHO, the two-day Summit (October 25-26), has the theme: ‘The Future of Vaccine and Bio-Health

“President Buhari, who is expected to deliver a Statement at the Summit and meet separately with President Yoon Suk-yeol, will also seek other ways of more effective partnerships that impact positively on the lives and safety of Nigerians during his other engagements and meetings”, he said.
