LAGOS, Nigeria – The late 70s and the 80s is filled with memories of evergreen sounds and lyrics that are irresistible and remain so even as one gets along in age.
This appears to be the situation in one of the social gathering in Lagos when the Disc Jockey dared to go down to the 70s, playing popular hit selection from Kool and the Gang, The Barg, All Night Long by Lionel Richie, Girl I am Gonna Miss You by Milli Vanilli and Silent Morning by Noel among others.
It was such a spectacular performance, so splendid that the master of ceremony joined the award winning dancer who was all white in his bears.
He danced so much that he would have won awards in the gigs if he represented his school in his days and he would compete with any young man that dares to challenge him on the dancing floor.
It was so amazing that those present, both ladies and men reached out to their pockets and started lavishing the very scarce Naira on him.
