LAGOS, Nigeria – Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has paid his tribue to the grandmaster of Nigerian comedy, Moses Adejumo better known as Baba Sala. He died on Sunday after taking his evening meals. He was 81.
In his tribute, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku described him as a pioneer in Nigerian entertainment industry, adding that he brought fun and laughter into the homes of Nigerians.
Besides, he said Baba Sala made quality home home videos and that his prayer is for him to find rest and that his family to be comforted and strengthened.
“Atiku Abubakar@atiku Baba Sala belonged to a generation that pioneered Nigeria’s entertainment industry by investing to make high quality home videos. He brought fun & laughter into our homes. It’s my prayer that he will find rest even as his family is comforted & strengthened”, he said on his social media page.
