Wants PDP to sanction the senator

LAGOS, Nigeria – A Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Senator Elisha Cliff Abbo, who was caught fighting with a lady at an Abuja sex toy shop is in trouble.
From the video uploaded by Premium Times, the senator did not only beat up the sales girl for fighting with her sister but also ordered his police orderly to take the girl into custody.
Reacting to the brawl, Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar called on the senator to apologise to the girl he assaulted and report to the police . According to Atiku, the video is sad and inexcusable.
“I know the Senator quite well. But the law is clear and leaders must lead by example”, he said.
Atiku Abubakar @atiku: “I advise him to publicly apologize, voluntarily go to the police and show a good example expected of a young leader. I also call on our party, the @OfficialPDPNigto take necessary disciplinary action and the @PoliceNG to ensure the law takes its full course. -AA
“I’ve seen the alleged assault video involving Sen. Elisha Abbo. The video is sad, inexcusable. I know the Senator quite well. But the law is clear and leaders must lead by example”, he said.
Atiku made the call just as the Senate has ordered investigation of Senator Elisha Abbo.
Senator Uba Sani, who represents Kaduna Central Senatorial District, asked Senate president Ahmed Lawan to set up a committee to investigate the matter.
