ABUJA, Nigeria- Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has condemned attacks on Kajuru, Kaduna and Sokoto, by herdsmen and other bandits leading to the death of 40 people.
The 40 lives were lost when bandits and herdsmen struck on Tuesday in Dalijan, Rakkoni, Kalhu in Rabah local council in Sokoto and Kajuru in Kaduna.
Atiku urged urge the federal government to beef up security with peace building initiative in Kajuru to stem the lingering crisis there.
“The loss of over 40 lives in attacks at Dalijan, Rakkoni & Kalhu in Rabah council of Sokoto & reported herdsmen attack on Kajuru, Kaduna State stands condemned. I urge security be stepped up while peace building initiatives promoted in Kajuru to stem the lingering crisis there”, he said.
