ABUJA, Nigeria – The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC will now resume recall process for Senator Dino Melaye, the Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District.
This is based on an order by Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja. The process to recall the loquacious senator was halted following his appeal against the judgement of a Federal High Court which ruled for continuation of the recall by INEC. But in a unanimous decision earlier today, the court dismissed the appeal filed by Melaye against the judgment of the Federal High Court delivered in 2017. Details later
