December 10, 2014 – There are indications that the ongoing primaries of the All Progressive Congress(APC) may just be a formality to crown former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential flag-bearer of the party.

Indication to this emerge this afternoon following a closed door meeting at the Lagos State House Marina, Lagos between Buhari and all the Governors of the APC who are in Lagos for the two days primaries.

We gathered that the governors endorsed Buhari as the man to lead APC against President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general election.

This secret endorsement of Buhari now leaves former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar in the doldrums with many feeling that it will be difficult for him to muster any vote even as accreditation takes off at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

Pundits say that is not to say that Atiku who is believed to have enough financial muscle to get most of the votes will not put on a good fight.
