Diplomats’ families told ‘get out now’ as war fears explode
By SCM REPORTER
THE United States has ordered the urgent evacuation of non-emergency government staff and their families from Israel as the region teeters on the brink of a total security collapse.
In a dramatic escalation of travel warnings issued today, February 27, 2026, Washington gave the green light for “authorized departure” from the U.S. Mission, citing grave safety risks and the threat of unpredictable “security incidents.”
The move—seen as a major red flag for the stability of the region—comes amid fears that the “complex” security environment could see violence explode “without warning.”
In a chilling message to its citizens, the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem warned that the “lone-actor terrorists” and “violent extremists” are actively plotting hits on tourist hotspots, shopping malls, and transport hubs.
A spokesperson warned:
”Persons may wish to consider leaving Israel while commercial flights are available.”
The alert makes it clear that the U.S. government fears airlines could “cancel or curtail” flights at a moment’s notice as regional tensions hit boiling point.
The State Department has slapped a “Do Not Travel” warning on several flashpoints, effectively creating a ring of steel around the most dangerous areas:
GAZA: Total no-go zone due to armed conflict.
A 2.5-mile exclusion zone has been set up along the Lebanese and Syrian borders.
EGYPT BORDER: 1.5 miles of the frontier is now strictly off-limits.
WEST BANK: Branded a high-risk area due to a surge in military operations and “civil unrest.”
Bomb Shelter Warning
American officials are now ordering their remaining staff to download “Red Alert” apps to their phones to provide real-time warnings for rocket attacks, missile strikes, and “armed UAV” (drone) intrusions.
Yanks still in the country have been told to “leave DNA samples” with medical providers and draft wills in case the worst happens.
The Embassy warned that the security situation—even in major cities like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem—is now “unpredictable.”
SCM understands that British officials are monitoring the situation closely as the “authorized departure” of U.S. personnel often signals a significant shift toward a more kinetic conflict.
