OKEHI, Kogi – The Kogi Central Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Natasha Akpota-Uduaghan has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari, the Inspector General of Police,  Alkali Usman Baba  and other security agencies to call the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello to order following his decision to prevent officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC from reaching Kogi central and other areas during the presidential and national assembly election slated for tomorrow, Saturday.

The senatorial candidate who mobilized villagers to fill up the trenches on the major road, describe what the governor has done as nothing but madness. She is surprised that the governor who is not on the ballot is bent on disenfranching the people of Kogi state.

So far the police in Kogi state has been able to intercept members of the CCECC construction firm engaged by the government to dig the trenches.

According to Mr. Ismail Abdulraheem Abdulganiyu and Sheidu Amoto, who were arrested by the police,  while digging the pits,  across access road to Okehi LG  said they were commissioned by the Chairman of the LG  Hon.
