South African actress Lesego Motsepe better known as ‘Letti Matabane’ in the soap Isidingo which features on the cable channel, MNET on the Digital Satellite Television(DStv) is dead. She is 39.

Reports say that the actress which has been living with the dread Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) was found dead at her home in Randburg.
Meanwhile, Paramedics say she died of natural causes.

She has been living with HIV since 1998. Until her death, she was part of a non-profit organisation, Afrikarize, which creates new conversations on HIV/AIDS as well as tackles socio-economic challenges facing the youth.

Motsepe, who played the character Letti between 1998 and 2008, said that she wasn’t really shocked when she found out she was HIV-positive 13 years ago. This was because she had been working as an Aids ambassador for years, using puppets to teach children about the virus.
