LEKKI, Lagos, Nigeria – Africa has risen again and it appears there is no going back so many decades after technology which started in Africa was stolen and taken away to Europe and America, thanks to the Zimbabwean, Maxwell Sangulani Chikumbotso, whose inspiration in the auto industry has kept everyone spellbound, taking Africa to number one in the sector, with his Kaiyi Saith model of vehicles.
The Kaiyi Saith model uses what he called Microsonic Energy Devices, MSED that converts radio frequencies, which are abundant in the atmosphere into electric energy. Besides, the car is a moving generator that can be used to power homes when there is no power supply.

According to him, the car generates up to 15 Kilowats of power. It is both a car and a mobile generator.
It comes with a range of I60Km/h electric motor and a torque of 320-380, with 215 horse power. According to him, compared with Toyota or any other car of its type, the Kayi Saith model is more efficient in everyway.
It has a total weight of 1,405 kilogram, cruising at a top speed of 220 kilometres. It also has two driving mood, sport drive mood and normal mood. On Sport drive mood, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2 seconds.
The Kaiyi Saith model, which has been tested from Zimbabwe to Egypt nonstop is the first Electric Vehicle, EV with limitless driving range. The vehicle is not like the conventional EV produced by Tesla, Toyota, Mercedez Benz, Volkswagen and the rest.
It is a Free Energy Vehicle, FEV that require no intermittent charging like the regular EVs and no fueling. It powers itself by generating electricity from radio frequency which is abundant in the air. It has COT Zero emission and quieter than other conventional EVs.
The inventor is beating his chest that you can drive the car in the next 20 years. With just USD15,000, you are sure of having one.
Maxwell Sangulani Chikumbotso, 44, who dropped out from school in form two was poisoned with his colleagues in 2017 on a visit to Silicon Valley in the United States by those who felt his inventions defied the law of physic. His colleague died of the poison but he survived by the grace of God.
President of Zimbabwe, Dr. ED Mnangagwa heard of his ordeal in the United States and invited him to come back to Zimbabwe where he is not firmly established as a leading brand in the auto industry.
He is not just into vehicles; he is equally producing motorcycles, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, (UAV) drone, helicopter, power generator and television among others. He has invented a solar panel that is attachable to any television to power it without external power source.
But threats are still coming from those who see his inventions as an obstacle to their business.
“I had to issue a press release regarding some serious threats on my life now. I am not afraid of dying as long as God allowed it to happen, it is well… We are shipping the paid orders, those who talked will be silent soon. Nothing will stop us now, we are more determined”, he said in February 2025 at the initial roll out of the product in Zimbabwe prior to the global roll out of the products in Nigeria, United States and Switzerland, among others.
Maxwell Chikumbutso dropped at out of form 2 due to lack of money and started with making radio transmitter. But in 2009 he began his journey into green energy.
In a thrilling message to well wishers, he expressed his sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support, both for him as an individual and for the success of his organisation.
