AWKA, Anambra – All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia State Chapter has felicitated with Senator Enyiannaya Abaribe, the Senator representing the good people of Abia South Senatorial Zone of Abia State on his successful inauguration as a member of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Abia APGA led by Elder Ambassador Sunday Onukwubiiri in a statement issued by State Publicity Secretary Barr. Chukwuemeka Nwokoro said Abaribe reelection under the party was not a surprise.
The statement described him a distinguished senator who is appreciated and loved by his people.
The statement reads:
“The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia State Chapter, under the able leadership of Elder Ambassador Sunday Onukwubiiri heartily felicitate with Distinguished Senator Enyi Abaribe, the Senator representing the good people of Abia South Senatorial Zone of Abia State on his successful inauguration today as a member of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Indeed, your emergence as the Senator representing the good people of Abia South Senatorial Zone did not come to us as a surprise because your victory at the last election was as a result of your quality and uncompromised representation of your people at the upper Chamber, coupled with your unrepentant doggedness as a voice for the voiceless in Nigeria.
There is no gainsaying the fact that you remain the only voice of Ndi Igbo and APGA salutes you because of your courage, sagacity, brilliance, thoughtfulness and uprightness which have immensely contributed in no small measure in strengthening our democracy, not only in Abia State, but Nigeria in general.
Mma Agha Ndi Igbo, you remain the pride of APGA in Abia State today and we have implicit confidence in you that you will always deploy your political experience towards the advancement of your party, APGA, your constituency and the Igbo Nation in general.
APGA as a political party is very proud of you while we pray God for outstanding wisdom from above as you settle down for the business of the 10th Senate, which we are very sure will yield the desired result in terms of mega political development of Abia State and by extension the accrued democracy dividends to our people who so much believe in your leadership and quality representation.
