LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 2 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 167, 467. But out of the 167, 467 cases, 163, 949 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2119 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 1399 active cases or Coronavirus.

There are now 180, 983,568 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 3, 920, 751 lives have been wasted already, while 2,886, 872,238 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered globally, based on the latest updates from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 33, 624, 433 confirmed cases, while 603,965 patients have passed on(16, 694 new and 318 deaths*), followed by India which has reported 30, 233, 183 confirmed cases, while 395, 751 patients are no more (50,040 new and 1258 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 18, 420, 498 confirmed cases, while 513, 474 patients are now dead (97,738 new and 2332 deaths*).
France is the 4th country most hit, reporting 5, 831,972 all time infections and 111,130 deaths(1578 new and 17 deaths*), followed by Turkey with 5, 409, 027 infections while 49, 576 patients are no more(4883 new and 52 deaths*) and Russia with 5, 387, 486 confirmations and 131,070 deaths(20, 169 new and 591 deaths*)
The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 4, 748, 634 confirmed cases while 128,364 patients have passed on(14, 625 new and 11 deaths*) and Argentina with 4, 393, 142 confirmations, while 92,317 patients are no more(18, 555 new and 338 deaths*) and Italy which has reported 4, 258, 069 all time cases, while 127,472 lives are no more(780 new and 14 deaths*).
Colombia has come up as the 10th country most hit with 4, 126, 340 all times infections, while 104, 014 lives have kicked the bucket(33, 594 new and 693 deaths*) and South Africa, which has documented 1, 928,897 total infections and 59, 900 patients have kicked the bucket(15, 036 new and 122 deaths*).
