OWERRI, Imo, Nigeria – Ahmed Gulak, an aide to former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has been murdered in cold blood in Imo State. The former presidential aide, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress(APC) was murdered by unknown gunmen in Owerri, Imo State.
Unknown gunmen have held Imo State and some states in the South East to hostage in recent times, even the fact that Imo State has been militarized has not stopped the bloodletting.
Reacting to the development, Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmed said those who engaged in this despicable act will not go unpunished, adding that all resources will be deployed to ensure that such callous and criminal elements are brought to justice.
“Let me warn that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
“We’ll deploy all resources at our disposal to ensure that such callous and criminal elements are brought to justice”, President @MBuhari on the heinous murder of Ahmed Gulak.
