Late BusinessPlus magazine publisher’s husband laid to rest
ACHALLA, Anambra, Nigeria – The remains of the former Comptroller of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Ogbuefi Edwin Uyaemem Achum has been laid to rest.
This followed a requiem mass in his compound at Ezenwanyi Street Off Awka-North Local Government Secretariat in Achalla, Anambra State on Friday, January 8, 2021.
His funeral which was well-attended, saw crème de la crème from all works of life, especially Anambra State in attendance including the member of State House of Assembly, Hon. John Nwokoye, who doubles as Onowu Achalla, an Abuja-based public relations consultant, Mr. Ginger Ekeh, editor-in-chief of ITREALMS Media inc, Mr. Remmy Nweke, who also is the chairman, Board of Trustees of Times Journalism Alumni Association (TJAA).
Chief Achum is survived by Dr. (Mrs) Grace Ekpoanwam Achum and four sons, including Mr. Anthony Achum, Flight Captain Evaristus Achum, Mr. Valentine Achum and Mr. Donatus Achum as well as daughters in-law and many grand children, foster children
