Coronavirus: Nigeria 155 new cases 7222 active as UK lists 14, 170 new cases in 24 hours

LAGOS, Nigeria –  The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 155 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases in the country to 59,738.

But out of the 59,738 confirmed cases 51,403 patients have been  discharged, while 1,113  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7, 222 new cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusngr.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-84, Rivers-31,  Kaduna-12,  Osun-10, Abuja-7,  Oyo-6,  Ogun-3 and Kwara-2, making a total of 155 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Globally, there are now 35, 980, 287 confirmed cases,  1,052, 193  lives have been lost since the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, while 25, 031, 622 others have been discharged, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has reported.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 7, 533, 976 all time cases, 211, 492 patients are dead, while 2, 952, 390 others have recovered, leaving the United States with 4, 370, 094  active cases of Coronavirus(39,519 new cases), #coronavirususa, followed by India with 6,757, 131  confirmed cases, 104, 555 people are no more,  while  4, 430, 340 others have been discharged, leaving India with 2, 222, 236 confirmed cases(72,049 new cases), followed by Brazil  which  has reported 4,969, 141 all time cases,  147, 494 others  have been killed by the virus while 4, 430, 340 others have recovered,  leaving Brazil with 391, 307  patients hoping for the best of medical attention to get back on their feet(41, 906 new cases).

Russia comes next as the 4^th country most afflicted with 1,242,258 all time cases, 21, 777 deaths and   991, 277 recoveries, leaving Russia with 229, 204  patients to assist to come out alive(10, 981 new cases), followed by Colombia which has reported 869, 808 confirmations, 27,017 deaths, while  770, 812  others have been discharged, leaving Colombia with 91, 979  patients to assist to the point of recovery and Spain which has documented 835, 901 all time cases,  32, 562 patients are now dead, while 150, 376 others have survived, leaving Spain with 652, 963  active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusspain(10, 491 new cases).

Peru has come up as the 7^th country most impacted by Coronavirus with 832, 929  all time cases, 32, 914 deaths and 712, 888 recoveries, leaving Peru with 87, 127  active cases of Coronavirus(2,930 new cases), followed by Argentina which has documented 824, 468 cases, 21, 827 patients have passed on while  660, 272 others  have recovered, leaving Argentina with 142, 369  patients to  assist medically to get back on their feet(14, 740 new cases) and Mexico which has confirmed 794, 608 cases over time, 82, 348 people are already dead due to the Coronavirus pandemic, while 676, 923  others  have been discharged, leaving Mexico with  35, 337 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusmexico(4, 828 new cases).

France has  moved up as the 10^th country most affected by the virus, reporting 693, 440  all time cases, 32, 462 patients have passed on, while 101, 941 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving France with 559,037  coronavirus patients hoping for the best of medical attention to keep living (18,605 new cases), followed by  South Africa which confirmed 683, 242 cases since the first case was reported in South Africa, 17, 103 patients are no more, while 616,857 others have survived, leaving South Africa with 49, 282 active cases, #coronavirussa and the United Kingdom, which had reported 546,949 cases since the first case was reported, 42, 605 patients have been killed by the pandemic, while only 2, 425 others have been  able to overcome the pandemic, leaving the United Kingdom with 501,919 patients hoping for the best of medical care to get back on their feet#coronavirusuk(14, 170 new cases).

Iran now stands as the 13^th country most hit, reporting 483, 844 confirmations, 13, 090 deaths and  447,053 recoveries, leaving Iran with 23, 701 active cases of Coronavirus, followed by Chile with 474, 440 cases recorded over time,   13,090 deaths, while 447,053 others have been discharged, leaving Chile with 14, 297 patients to assist to regain their health and Italy now 18^th country most hit with 333,940 cases, 36,061 deaths and 235, 303 recoveries, leaving Italy with 62, 576 patients hoping for the best of medical care to get back on their feet,#coronavirusitaly.

China, which has been pushed to the 46^th country most impacted by Coronavirus has documented 90, 678 all time cases, 4, 739 deaths, while 85, 576 patients have recovered, leaving China with 363 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronaviruschina.
