    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) today presented certificate of return to Kogi State Governor-elect, Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Governor-elect, Mr. Onoja Edward David.

    Mr. Yahaya Bello and his deputy, Mr. Onoja Edward David were elected during the November 16, 2019 election. Governor Yahaya Bello polled 406,222 votes to defeat Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored just 189,704 votes.

    INEC National commissioner for Kogi, Kwara and Nassarawa states, Mohammed Kudu Haruna presented the certificate to the governor and his deputy governor.
