Patience Ozokwor calls for national honours for Osofia, Baba Suwe, others

LAGOS, Nigeria – Queen of Nollywood Patience Ozokwor is not happy that Nigeria seems not to have recognised the contributions of some actors to the development of Nigeria.

Patience Ozokwor, who has played very memorable roles in Nigerian movies is angry that the likes of Nkem Nwoh, better known as Osofia for the evergreen role he played in the film, Osofia in London and John Okafor better known as Mr. Ibu for that silly role in the film, Mr. Ibu, Chiwetala Agu and Baba Suwe are yet to be recognised with national honours for their contribution to national development.

She also recalled the contributions of Osita Iheme better known as Pawpaw and Chinedu Ikedieze better known as Aki for the rib-cracking role they played in the film, Aki Na Ukwa

She believes they should be honoured before they die

“Nkem owoh, chiwetala agu, Saka, Baba Suwe, Mr ibu, Aki & pawpaw they all deserves a national awards before they die they made childhood memorable, Rip to Sam loco efe”, she said on the social media.
