    I CANNOT CONTINUE TO FUNCTION AS SPOKESMAN OF APC – BOLAJI ABDULLAHI

    LAGOS, Nigeria – Spokesman of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC), Mallam. Bolaji Abdullahi has resigned his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement, Abdullahi said he cannot continue to function as spokesman of the party.




    “I have decided to resign my position as National Publicity Secretary of the party as well as membership of the party with immediate effect”, he said.

    He described as unlawful the recent dissolution of the Kwara State Executive Council without consulting him, an elected officer as unlawful and unbecoming of a national party.

    “Clearly, I cannot continue to function as National Publicity Secretary of a party whose expectations of that role is incompatible with my principle. ”, he said.
