The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN has confirmed that the corpse of the former Governor of Ondo State, Chief Olusegun Agagu was not consumed by inferno when the Ebraer 120 plane in the fleet of Associated airline crashed in Lagos while taking off from the local airport.
According to FAAN, the aircraft marked 5N-BJY crash landed at exactly 9.32 AM.

“We confirm today the crash of an Embraer 120 (plane) belonging to Associated airlines. The rescue operation commenced immediately with all the relevant agencies moving enmasse to the crash site,” FAAN said in a statement.
They said the black box of the crashed plane has been found. We gathered that 15 people aboard the crashed planed plane survived and are currently been to at a nearby hospital. Son of the former Minister of Finance, Chief Olu Falaye is said to be one of the 20 passengers aboard the plane.
