ONE DEAD, 10 INJURED AS VAN HITS MUSLIM WORSHIPERS NEAR MOSQUE IN LONDON

LONDON, United Kingdom – At least one person has been confirmed dead and ten others injured when a man last night drove a van into a crowd of worshipers as they were leaving the mosque in North London.

The attacker was however restrained and held down by worshipers to prevent him from hurting other people until policemen arrived the scene.

As we held him, he was scratching, kicking and saying, “you guys deserve this”, an eye witness said, regarding the London mosque attack.

British Prime Minister, Teresa May said the incident is being treated as a terrorist attack.

All the victims are from Muslim community in what has been attributed to Islamophobia in Britain. Two were treated at the scene while 8 were evacuated to hospitals in London.

Police Chief, Neil Basu, a Senior Counterterrorism officer said the incident is being treated as a terror attack and that the attacker acted alone.

The attacker is currently being questioned by police.
