Nigeria, May 16, 2016 – Heartland goalkeeper Ebele Obi has dissociated himself from the purported lawsuit against Chief Ifeanyi Ubah instituted by the Nigerian Association of Nigerian Footballers (NANF).

In a chat with the media officer of his team, the Anambra-born player said he and his family had decided to move on from the ugly incident.
“In as much as I detest the barbaric actions of Ifeanyi Ubah and his thugs against me , I and my family have decided to painfully move on. It was a sad episode in my life but after a family meeting, I was a advised by my family not to press charges,” he said.
Ebele says he is excited to be back after his suspension and promises to give the Naze millionaires the best of his services
In another related development, the General Manager of Heartland, Mr. Oscar Keke has congratulated the team on their feat in Kano, charging them to take other teams seriously like they seem to do against the top teams in the league.
