Aminu Masari Wins in Katsina

April 12, 2015 – Former Speaker of the House of Representative who contested the governorship election in Katsina State under the platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC), Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has been declared winner of the election in Katsina State.

Masari pulled a total of 943,085 votes to defeat Musa Nashuni of PDP who pulled 476,768 votes.

While announcing the result, INEC Returning Officer, Professor Lawal Suleiman
said a total of 1,555,333 votes was cast and that 1,514,000 were valid while 41,333 votes were rejected.
