March 25, 2015 – The Federal Government has closed Nigeria’s border with other nations 72 hours to the general elections coming up March 28, 2015.
Nigeria shares border with Republic of Benin, Cameroun, Niger and other nations.
A statement from the Presidency said closure of the boarder was to keep peace and ensure a violent-free election for Saturday.
The statement said the boarders will be closed with effect from today, Wednesday until Saturday when the elections will take place.
