Halima Abubakar, once flamboyant Nollywood star now Koboless,  appeals for help

LAGOS, Nigeria –  Once flamboyant Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar  is passing through a very difficult period. The actress who said she has not acted in a single movie in the past six years said she has sold all her properties including her vehicles to cater for herself and it is not yet uhuru.

Halima Abubakar said on video that she has been forced to relocate from town to a village to take care of herself.  She is also struggling with High Blood Pressure which is yet to be regulated to normalcy to enable her live a normal life.

The actress who was practically crying on the video said she is not as pretty as many people think she is but that all she has been doing is embellish her features with Tiktok filters.

“This is me but everyday you see me post picture with filter. That is a filter on Tiktok, not me. This is how I look. Some of you will be laughing. But what is funny? Will I be lying, lying that I am sick?”, she queried.

Halima said she has practically being begging for food to survive due to lack of finances, more so when she has so many test to do but unable to due to paucity of funds.

She said everybody in Nollywood has abandoned her.

“There is nothing wrong with me medically now. Everybody in Nollywood don’t talk to me anymore because of this singular thing. I go from DM to Dm trying to see who will help me. I  was rich , I sold everything, my cars, everything. You would think they would sympathize with me, selling three cars not doing anything . How would I live when I am not doing anything”, she queried.
