AWKA, Anambra – The Kinsmen of the governor of Anambra State Prof Charles Soludo, Isuofia community of Aguata local government council of Anambra State have staged a protest over the killings of three young men by Udo Ga Achi operatives.

Governor Kinsmen staged the protest in Isuofia accusing the Agunachemba,Udo Ga Achi of murdering three of their community, noting that they were mistaken for kidnappers.

The protesters said that victims were working at a building site at Owerre-Ezukala when Udo Ga Achi operatives mistook them for kidnappers and gunned them down.

A viral video collaborated a series of voice notes alleging that the three young men were victims of mistaken identity, and were working at a building site at Owerre-Ezukala when Udo Ga Achi operatives mistook them for kidnappers and gunned them down.

Among the protesters are angry women seen in the viral video expressing their pains and outrage.

They however used the corpses of the three Isuofia youths to barricade the road opposite the Catholic Church in the community.

While many have praised the state government for its renewed offensive against criminal elements in the state, some questioned the mode of operations of the security operatives citing human rights infringements and rush to judgment.

When contacted the press secretary to the governor  said that he was not aware of any protest against the activities of Agunachemba.

According to him,the Agunachemba operatives were properly trained for the work and engagement.
He said that with the training it is not easy for them to trampled on human rights.

The state local security outfit was launched on 18th January to fight increasing kidnapping, violent crimes and sundry crimes in the state.
