GAZA, Palestine – The protracted conflict between Israel and Palestine has festered for decades, resulting in a grim toll of innocent lives and unspeakable humanitarian crises. Against this backdrop, the international community has a moral duty to act as a responsible guardian of peace.

French President Emmanuel Macron and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have courageously advocated for a crucial arms embargo on Israel, representing a pivotal step towards a sustainable political solution.

The escalating tensions and persistent violence in the Gaza Strip underscore the urgent necessity for decisive action. The chronicled human rights abuses and disproportionate use of force by the Israeli military demand an immediate global response. President Macron’s demeanor and the OIC’s collective voice amplify the international community’s growing concerns about the perpetuation of violence.
