NLC demands release of Ajaero before 12 midnight, reversal of PMS to N617/ litre

ABUJA – Nigeria Labour Congres, NLC has demanded immediate release of its President Comrade Joe Ajaero before 12 midnight today and reversal of the price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS to N617 per litre.
In a statement signed by Deputy President of the union, Comrade Prince Adeyanju Adewale, the union also demanded for the release of the youths arrested and charged during the #endbadgovernance and #endhunger protest across the federation.
The NLC reiterated its commitment to defend the rights of the Nigerian workers and its citizens.
He said the congress will not relent on its efforts to oppose all forms of oppression.
The NAC therefore summoned the National Executive Committee, NEC for 10 am tomorrow Tuesday to take compelling action on current forces of “retrogression”.
The NAC demanded immediate implementation of the National Minimum Wage recently signed into law by President Bola Tinubu.
“The Nigeria Labour Congres will not waiver in its duty to protect the rights of workers and the freedom of all Nigerians”, Prince Adeyanju Adewale said.
