FirstBank celebrates Soyinka at 90 on stage with the play, ‘The Noble Warrior Eni Ogun

LAGOS, Nigeria – FirstBank, the oldest bank in Nigeria through its First@arts initiative has announced the sponsorship of a theatre performance titled “The Noble Warrior Eni Ogun”, a play to celebrate and honour the accomplished Literary Powerhouse, Professor Wole Soyinka at 90.

The Noble Warrior Eni Ogun is written by Aiye-ko-ooto, and produced by Adubiifa Network Company, in collaboration with Wole Soyinka International Cultural Exchange (WSICE).

The play is set to tell the historic story of the successful defeat of the colonial forces in the hands of resilient natives.

Coming up at the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, the play is scheduled for 20 July 2024 at 6:00pm.
