Lamine Yamal propels Spain into Euro 2024 finals

BERLIN- Lamine Yamal, the 16 year old Spanish player got all the praises for the victory of the team against France on Tuesday evening for his equalizer from outside box 18 assisted by the bar.

France, one of the favourites of the Euro 2024 encounter had shot into the lead in the ninth minutes through Kolo Muani after connecting the ball from Kyllian Mbappe.

Yamal equalised for his side in the 21st minutes with his long shot that hit the left bar before resting in the net.

Four minutes later, Dani Olmo put the Spanish team in the lead. The Spanish team held on to the scoreline until half time.

The Mbappe led France team came in the second half determined to win the game but rough tackling soon reduced the team to 10 players when one of the players was sent packing.

The Spanish team held on to end of the encounter. They now await the winner between England and Netherlands, coming up on Wednesday.

The best losers will play for the bronze on Saturday, while the final game comes up Sunday
