Keven Schlotterbeck off to Bochum on loan
FREIBURG – Defender Keven Schlotterbeck will once again play on loan at Bochum from Bundesliga rivals Freiburg this season, both clubs said on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old has played 83 Bundesliga games so far, 13 of them for Bochum last term.
“I am very pleased that it has worked out and that I am now back in Bochum,” he said in a statement.
Schlotterbeck, the brother of Borussia Dortmund and Germany centre half Nico, was only second choice at Europa League entrants Freiburg.
“Since his prospects of regular playing time with us have not changed, we wanted to give Keven this opportunity,” Freiburg sporting director Jochen Saier said.
