    COVID19 claims 3546 lives in US, 945 in Brazil

    LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 65 new cases of COVID19, bringing all time cases in the country to 253, 405. But out of the 253, 405 total cases,  229,  676  patients have been treated and discharged, while 3, 136 patients are no more.

    “NCDC: 65 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Lagos -19,  Kano -16, Rivers -12,  FCT – 11, Kaduna -4,  Niger – 2, Delta -1:  253, 405 confirmed;  229, 676 discharged; 3, 136 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    Globally there are now384, 912,335  million confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 701, 005 patients have been killed by the COVID19 pandemic, while 10, 152,323,320 doses of COVID19 vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country globally, reporting 75, 680, 487 all time cases, while 894, 316 patients have been killed by the pandemic(330, 128 new and 3546 deaths#), followed by India, which had documented 41,803,318 total cases of COVID19, while 498, 983 patients have perished(333, 819 new and  )and Brazil, which has reported 25, 820, 745 total cases, while 629, 301 patients have passed on(185, 964 new and 945 deaths#).

    France has come up as the 4th country most hit, with 19, 998, 301 total cases of COVID19 pandemic, while 132,583 patients are no more(317, 070 new and 276 deaths#), followed by the United Kingdom which has documented 17, 632, 062  million cases, while 157, 938 patients are no more(87, 682 new and 534 deaths#) and  Russia, which has registered 11, 936, 064 all time cases and 325, 986 deaths(141,005 new and 665 deaths#).

    Turkey remains the 7th country most hit with 11, 833,165 cases, while 87, 831 patients are no more(110, 682 new and 217 deaths#), followed by  Italy with 11, 235,745 total COVID19 cases, while 147, 320 lives have perished(119, 323 new 395 deaths#) and  Spain, now reporting 10, 125,348 confirmed cases, while 93, 857 patients are no more(86,222 new and 224 deaths#).

    Germany has reported 10, 474,992  patients are no more, while 118,339 patients have been killed by COVID19 pandemic(395, 201 new and 313 deaths#) and South Africa, which has been the most afflicted country in Africa.

    South  Africa, has documented 3,612, 809 all time cases, while 95,463 patients have been killed by the pandemic(4502 new and 175 deaths#).
