 LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 29 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 251, 959.

But out of the 251, 959 total cases,  225, 946 patients have been treated and discharged, while 3, 124 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with

“NCDC: 29 new cases of COVID19Nigeria:Lagos – 27,  Kano – 1,  Rivers -1: 251, 959 confirmed; 225,  946 discharged, 3, 124 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

Globally, there are now 348, 093, 292 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 589, 203  patients have been killed by the pandemic, while 9, 778, 901, 697 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 70, 412,780 total cases, while 865, 240 patients have passed on(453, 314 new and 1469 deaths#), followed by India, which has reported 38, 903, 731 all time cases, while 488, 884 patients are no more(337, 704 new and 488 deaths#) and Brazil, which has documented 23,766, 499  all time cases, while 622,875 lives have been wasted(171, 321 new and 399 deaths#).

France has come up as the 4^th country most affected, reporting 16, 506, 090 total cases of the pandemic, while 129, 505 patients are no more(389, 342 new and 167 deaths#), followed by the United Kingdom  which has reported 15,891, 902 total infections and 154, 298 deaths(77, 647 new and  300 deaths#)and Turkey, which has reported 10, 881, 626 total cases and 85, 784 deaths(72, 856 new and 184 deaths#).

 Russia is the 7^th country most hit with 10, 860, 799 total infections and 318,869 deaths(56, 767 new and 669 deaths#), followed by Italy, which has registered 9, 781, 191 all time cases, while 143,296 patients have perished(177, 335 new and 333 deaths) and Spain with 8, 975, 458 total infections and 91, 741 deaths.

Germany is still the 10^th country most hit, reporting 8, 641,  877  total infections and 116, 678 deaths(105, 532 new and 113 deaths#) and South Africa, which is the most afflicted African country. South Africa has documented 3, 579, 428 all time infections, while 94, 063 patients could not make it alive(3049 new and 114 deaths#).
