LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 828 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the country, bringing all time cases to 223, 483.

But out of the 223, 483 total cases, 211, 522 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2,984 other patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 8977 active cases of Coronavirus, no death in the last 24 hours.

There are now 274,128,523 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 349,147 patients are no more, while 8,655,522,329 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 50,750,360 total cases, while 806, 192 patients have passed on(150, 370 new and 1254 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 34, 733, 194 all time cases, while 477,158 patients are no more(7145 new and 289 deaths#) and Brazil, which has reported 22, 204,941 all time cases, while 617,395 patients have passed on.

The United Kingdom remains the 4^th country most hit, reporting 11, 343,531 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic and 147, 634 deaths(89, 398 new and 127 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has documented 10, 009,866 total cases of the pandemic, while 290,340 patients have kicked the bucket(27, 131 new and 1048 deaths#) and Turkey, which has registered 9, 138, 535 confirmed cases, while 80,053 other patients are no more.

France remains the 7^th country most hit, reporting 8,681, 667 total cases of Coronavirus, while 122,403 patients have perished(116, 523 new and 245 deaths#), followed by Germany with 6,788,556 total cases and 108,138 deaths(41, 564 new and 326 deaths#) and Iran which has reported 6, 169, 011 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 131, 033 patients are no more(1361 new and 41 deaths#).

Argentina has co me up as the 10^th country most hit, reporting 5, 382,290 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic and 116,892 deaths(5648 new and 18 deaths#) and South Africa which is the most afflicted country in Africa.

South Africa has reported 3, 292, 609 total cases of infections, while 90,345 patients have kicked the bucket(16, 080 new and 48 deaths#).
