LOKOJA Kogi – Embattled Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has arrived home and she is well.
The Senator who has been out of Nigeria in continuation of her consultation even as the Nigerian Senate conspire to work against her for raising her voice against President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
The pretty and very alluring senator had alleged that Akpabio was withholding her privileges in the Senate to speak and be heard on issues affecting her Constituency, especially issue relating to the workability of the Ajaokuta Steel Complex, a national asset.
She had alleged that the President of the Senate had in his efforts to trap her sexually said she will have her way if she can just “make me happy”.
She was suspended illegally for six months against the rules of the house, while her petition was classified dead on arrival by Chairman Ethics Committee.
Well the Kogi Governor, Mr. Usman Ododo anticipating her home coming had banned public gathering in the state with reports that road blocks were mounted to prevent the senator from reaching her Constituency.
But alas, the senator hoodwinked the entire government machinery unleashed against her. She landed to a rousing welcome to the Kogi people she has served wholeheartedly with a small multipurpose plane.
It is not surprising. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is already well acquainted with the antics of government who had dugged trenches during the 2023 general election to prevent her team from overseeing the elections and stop her from exposing the rigging machinery of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
Already the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has initiated her recall process sponsored by agents of the Kogi State Government on instruction from ABUJA which analyst say is bound to fail.
Once more the antics of the Kogi State Government has failed and the senator is now home to expose the shenanigans of recall process.
