GAZA, Palestine – The Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas has insisted that military pressure will not break the back of the resistance that it will raise the level of defiance and determination to confront the occupation, noting that such pressure and only result in the death of the remaining captives but that the captives will only return alive through negotiations.

In a statement, Hamas described what is happening in Gaza as not just military pressure, but brutal revenge against innocent civilians, and that the countries of the world must shoulder their responsibility to stop it immediately.

“Increasing the pace of aggression will not break the will of our people, but rather raise the level of defiance, stubbornness, and determination to confront the aggression”, Hamas said.

It noted that Netanyahu’s policy of revenge against children, women, and the elderly is not a plan to achieve a supposed victory, but rather a recipe for inevitable failure.

“Military escalation will not bring back the prisoners alive; rather, it threatens their lives and kills them, and their return is only possible through negotiation”.
