PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria – The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC has been working to satisfy the needs of people living in the Niger Delta region in the last twenty five years within the limit of available resources.
In doing this, the commission has ensured that projects cited in each locality meet the immediate needs of the community.
It is in line with this logic that the agency constructed a solar-powered water project in Umu-neochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area in Abia State.
In the words of the NDDC, the project was put in the community so that residents can have access to clean water.
