LAGOS, Nigeria – Residents of Ijoko, Sango Ota in Ogun State are apprehensive after they found a family man who is father of four children half naked, tied down with his hands back, another rope tightly on the neck almost at a chocking point in his home abandoned.
Although it is not clear if the intention of the family whose wife is alive and probably on the run with the four other children was to kill the family head, the man who lives in the Aroromi area was said to have received his retirement benefits after working all through his life and got himself a befitting car said to have been bought for N12 million.
The man who already built a house for himself and his family was said to have also opened two shops for his wife in addition to cash sum of N3 million, which eye witnesses say the runaway wife sees as too meager.
According to the report published in The Nation Newspaper, the four children of the man, all graduates are also not happy with their father, feeling that they are entitled to partake in the retirement benefit of their father, who has trained them up to university level.
The wife of the man, whose name cannot be ascertained and the four children are alleged to have conspired to have the man man tied before fleeing the area.
According to a local landlord in the area, the man was tied down like an animal waiting to be slaughtered, adding that the suspects are now cooling their heads in a local police station.
