Israel kills 69 Palestinians in violation of ceasefire, nearly 50,000 murdered since October 7, says OIC

JEDDAH – The Israeli occupation forces have expelled residents of three camps in Jenin and Tulkarm in the West Bank during their ongoing aggression on the northern areas and as part of a declared plan to fragment the West Bank in order to control it and annex parts of it, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, OIC Media Observation has said.

It added that the occupation forces bulldozed streets and destroyed infrastructure during their storming of the town of Qabatiya in Jenin, and created an opening in the facade of the Bank of Jordan.

“They also bulldozed the main street from the entrance to the village of Shuhada to the town and uprooted dozens of olive and almond seedlings in the Al-Kabarat area located west of the town of Nahalin in Bethlehem”, the OIC said.

The OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against the Palestinians documented, during the period from 18 to 24 February 2025, the murder of 69 Palestinians, seven of whom were murdered by the fire of the occupation forces in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Hebron, and 10 in the Gaza Strip in the context of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.

In addition, 52 others were recovered from under the rubble in the Gaza Strip the OIC media reported.

It added that the number of injured Palestinians reached 73, and the number of detainees in the West Bank reached 198 Palestinians, and the number of Palestinians murdered by the Israeli occupation from October 7, 2023 until February 24, 2025, reached 49,269, and the injured 118,464.

“The storming of the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli extremists has become a daily occurrence.

“The occupation forces also violated the sanctity of a mosque in the village of Burqa in Nablus, stopped the afternoon prayer and conducted a field investigation with the worshipers, raided and searched the Salah al-Din Mosque in the village of Abu Dis in Al-Quds, and settlers stormed the Abu al-Auf shrine in the town of Sinjil.

“In terms of attacks on the education sector, the occupation forces prevented teachers and students of the Ibrahimiyya School in the Old City of Hebron from entering the school for several consecutive days. They also raided five schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), detained and forced teaching staff to evacuate students, and closed them in the implementation of the ban on the agency’s activities.

“The Israeli troops raided the Qalandia Vocational Training Institute affiliated with UNRWA in the Qalandia camp, and issued an order to evacuate it within days. They also raided the Arab al-Malihat School in Jericho, and detained 4 Palestinians while they were installing surveillance cameras for the school.

“Regarding the confiscation of Palestinian lands and properties, the occupation forces delivered a military order to confiscate half a dunum of land from the town of Sebastia and the village of Deir Sharaf, in order to pave a settlement road for a new pastoral settlement outpost in the area. Israeli authorities also confiscated an agricultural tractor in Qalqilya, a bulldozer in Nablus, a cement mixer and pump in Salfit, and two private vehicles in each of Nablus and Ramallah.

“In the same context, the settlers damaged a bulldozer and an agricultural tractor in the town of Kafr Qaddum in Qalqilya, and burned a vehicle in Hebron, as well as heavy equipment and light vehicles”, the OIC observation added.

The OIC’s Observatory recorded the occupation forces’ demolition of 41 homes in Al-Quds, Salfit, Tulkarm, Hebron and Nablus, and the burning of five homes in Tulkarm, Jenin and Al-Quds. The occupation forces also warned of the demolition of 25 agricultural rooms in the village of Duma in Nablus, while the Israelis demolished and burned more than 7 barns and rooms in each of Hebron and Kufr Qaddum in Qalqilya and Al-Quds.

In addition, they demolished a commercial store in Nablus and bulldozed lands and stone chains, which reflects the escalation of Israeli crimes over the course of only seven days, which amounted to 1315 crimes in all areas of the occupied Palestinian territory, and also included settlement activities and settler raids.

During this period, the number of settlement activities reached eight, during which the Supreme Planning Council affiliated with the occupation authorities announced a detailed plan to expand the “Etz Ephraim” settlement, by seizing lands from the village of “Masha” with an area of ​​21 dunams in order to build 73 new settlement units.

The occupation authorities also began procedures to build 974 additional settlement units on an area of ​​644 dunums to establish a new neighborhood that will expand the settlement of “Efrat” built on Bethlehem Palestinian lands.
