Says We are actively working to thwart Israeli displacement plans

GAZA, Palestine – The Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas in the Gaza Strip has said it will release six Israeli captives on Saturday in keeping with the ceasefire and prisoners exchange deal.
But before then, it promised to release the body of 4 captives killed by the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF in indiscriminate bombing of the Gaza Strip and release the rest bodies after Saturday depending on how Israel responds to the prisoners exchange process.
In a statement, Hamas said the 6 captives to be released includes Hisham al-Sayed and Avraham Mengistu.
Hamas said the resistance has demonstrated seriousness in implementing the ceasefire, while the occupation and Netanyahu continue to stall.
” We are working with mediators in Qatar and Egypt to ensure the occupation adheres to what was agreed upon in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
“We are actively working to thwart all displacement plans that the occupation seeks to impose on our people.
The resistant fighters said it is working with mediators in Qatar and Egypt to enforce the occupation’s commitment to the terms agreed upon in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
Hamas demanded the entry of heavy equipment to retrieve the bodies of martyrs and the occupation’s captives who were killed by Israeli bombardment.
“We have decided to hand over four bodies of occupation prisoners, including members of the Bibas family, on Thursday as a prelude to engaging in the second phase of the agreement negotiations”.
Besides, it will release the body of the Israeli prisoner Bibas, “provided that the occupation releases our prisoners in exchange on Saturday as per the agreement”.
Hamas added that the remaining bodies will be handed over in accordance with the agreed-upon schedule during the sixth week of the agreement’s implementation.
