GAZA, Palestine – The Palestinian Authority, PA has announced plans to restore normalcy to Gaza as the ceasefire deal goes into effect tomorrow Sunday.

According to the Government Media Office, the Palestinian government in Gaza announces the completion of a comprehensive plan to address the ceasefire agreement, which will come into effect tomorrow, Sunday.

“The plan includes urgent field measures to ensure the gradual return of normal life, including securing affected areas and providing humanitarian aid to citizens.

“Specialized government teams from ministries and governmental institutions have been prepared to monitor the implementation of this plan on the ground, ensuring the safety of citizens and striving to meet their basic needs”, he said.

According to him, the Palestinian government affirms the readiness of ministries and governmental institutions to execute this plan.

“At the forefront of its implementation will be the Palestinian Police, municipalities, and field monitoring teams.

“The police will be responsible for maintaining security and order across the various governorates, while municipalities will oversee tasks such as reopening roads, clearing debris in affected areas, repairing water networks, and restoring infrastructure.

“Other government teams from various ministries will work closely on the ground to ensure all measures are implemented and to facilitate the swift restoration of normalcy”, he said.
