MOSCOW – The long awaited talk between Russian President, Vladimir Putin and his German counterpart, Olaf Scholz has finally taken place.
According to the Russian news agency, RT, the discussion took place on phone and it was brief.
The telephone conversation centred on peaceful resolution of the war in Ukraine.
We gathered that during the talk, the German Chancellor made it clear to Putin that he remains on the side of Ukraine in the ongoing war.
Meanwhile, President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky has said that his forces are fighting about 50,000 North Korean forces deployed by Putin to Ukraine.
