Trump names Elise Stefanik US ambassador to the United Nations

WASHINGTON – President elect of the United States,Mr. Donald Trump has appointed Elise Stefanik as United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

In his letter appointing her, Trump described her as a ” Strong and Smart American First” fighter.

“Elise is a strong and very smart American First fighter”.

According to Trump, Elise graduated from Harvard University with honours, and was the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.

She is also House Republican Chair.

According to Trump, “Elise was the first member of Congress to endorse me and has always been a staunch advocate.

“Elise is a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, and led the charge against antisemitism on college campuses.

“She will be an incredible ambassador to the United Nations, delivering peace through strength, and American First National Security Policies”.
