GAZA, Palestine – The vetoes employed by the United States at the United Nations Security Council, UNSC when it comes to forcefully halting the aggression of the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF on the Gaza Strip will continue to widen the scale of death in Gaza as the war entered 384th day since October 8, 2023.

Another 55 defenceless civilians increased the death tally to 42, 847, while the tally of those injured now stands at 100,544, based on the latest statistics released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Besides the 55 martyrs, 132 people were injured and were taken to hospitals in the past 24 hours with carts, ambulance and by hands.

“Some of the victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and the ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them” the ministry said.

In a statement, the IDF said troops of the 162nd Division continue their operational activity in the area of Jabaliya, eliminating dozens of terrorists and dismantling terrorist infrastructure.

“Since the start of their operation in the area, a large number of Palestinians have been evacuated to safer areas, despite Hamas’ efforts to prevent civilians from evacuating the area, and over 200 terrorists have been apprehended.

“Additionally, the troops have eliminated a number of terrorists and located and dismantled weapons, including AK-47s, launchers, and explosives.

“Moreover, IDF troops conducted targeted raids in the central Gaza Strip, clearing the area of Hamas ​​terrorists and terrorist infrastructure. Yesterday (Wednesday), IDF artillery struck and dismantled a number of terrorist infrastructure sites in the central Gaza Strip”.
