GAZA, Palestine – The Palestinian Resistant Movement, Hamas said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains the reason for about 100 captives are still being held today in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Spokesman of the Al Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida said but for the ambition of Netanyahu, all the captives would be safe, hail and hearty with their families one year ago.
Abu Obeida said the Resistant has been keen from day one to protect and preserve prisoners.
“We have been keen since day one to protect and preserve our prisoners”, he said and he asked “when did assassinations affect our resistance and our history?
According to him, if assassination was a victory (for the occupation regime), the resistance would have ended since the assassination of Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam in Jenin 90 years ago.
“This land produces the resistance fighters as it produces olives and bequeaths the pride to generations, generation after generation
“The heroes of the West Bank are humiliating the enemy from Jenin to Tubas to Tulkarm to Nablus to Al-Khalil
“What is happening in the region today in terms of support operations for the resistance in Gaza are positions that are appreciated and great in the eyes of our people
“Today we say to our brothers, the fighters in Hezbollah, that we are confident in your strength and power to inflict painful losses on the enemy”, he said.
He added the resistance will work with the will of Allah and that under His eye, a leader leaves behind leaders, a soldier leaves behind ten, and a thousand martyrs leave behind resistance fighters, and this land bequeaths resistance fighters like olive branches
“What is happening in the region today in terms of support operations and actual participation in an open battle in #Yemen, #Lebanon, #Iraq and #Iran
“We have exhausted this defeated army for a year and killed hundreds of its elite forces and we have clashed with their soldiers face to face, so we are certain that the brothers in Hezbollah will complete the mission.
“A whole year and we are fighting in an unequal battle with a criminal enemy
“The enemy only understands the language of force and weapons are only confronted with weapons”, he said.
Abu Obeida said the recent Jaffa operation is only one episode in what is coming and what is coming is more bitter and harsher, God willing
“We have been keen since day one to protect and preserve our prisoners
“We tell the occupation public that you could have recovered your prisoners a year ago if that had suited Netanyahu’s ambitions”
