GAZA, Palestine – Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has surrounded Al-Awda Hospital with tanks and guns holding patients and medical personnel to hostage.

No one is allowed to leave, not even catch a glimpse at the stern looking soldiers from the window, the Acting Director of the Hospital in the Gaza Strip, Dr. Mohammed Saleh has said.

“The occupation forces have completely surrounded the hospital, and we cannot leave or even approach the windows”, he said.

He said the World Health Organization is unable to deliver fuel and supplies to those in the hospital, neither were they able to coordinate the transfer of six critical cases that need to be moved to hospitals in Gaza City.

“We are only eating one meal a day, which consists of half a loaf of bread or a small plate of rice.

“Two days ago, the occupation forces fired artillery shells at the hospital, destroying two floors used for patient accommodation and damaging the water tanks.

“This is the third siege of the hospital since the start of the aggression, and we fear that the hospital will be stormed, forcing us and the patients to leave”, he said.

He made the appeal just as Gaza now has made urgent appeal to all international organizations to rescue more than 130 Palestinian women trapped inside a hole 15 meters deep underground.

According to the media outfit, the women are without food or drink, in the Sheikh Zayed area, north of the Gaza Strip.

The channel reported that the occupation has isolated the women inside a hole and sent their children to unknown areas.

: The women are in danger at the moment, and it is expected that a large number of them will be declared martyrs if they are not rescued immediately”.
